Does it work with the type of boards I have?
As the world's only Universal Watercraft Coupler (patent pending!), Paddlemaran can easily and quickly connect two completely mismatched paddleboards. You can connect a big board with a little one, a wide board with a narrow one, an inflatable board with a solid one, etc. But it doesn't stop there! As the world's first and only Universal Watercraft Coupler, it even works on kayaks: it'll connect two kayaks, or a kayak and a paddleboard! Universal?... More like universally awesome!
What about the area between the boards?
When you're underway, the space between the boards remains open and nothing impedes your paddlestroke. When you're chilling, it takes just seconds to deploy your Zero-gravity Water Hammock to turn the middle space into an unbelievably comfortable private water hangout zone, with hands-down the best water chilling we've ever experienced. Imagine floating weightless in the soft embrace of a space-age hammock, cold bubbly beverage in hand. When your Paddlemaran arrives, you can stop imagining and actually experience what every intergalactic space paddler can only dream of.
Is it actually easy to setup?
Yep. Just 1) set two boards side by side, 2) connect the two bars, 3) loop the straps over each end and cinch them tight. Then slather on some sunblock and hit the water with your crew!
Is it stable and fast?
You will be astonished with the stability of your Paddlemaran. Just like a catamaran is far more stable than a monohull sailboat, your Paddlemaran is so stable you can turn circles, easily fly fish, do yoga, or dance a little jig. It's super easy to paddle on both sides of both boards, so you don't have to sacrifice your flexy paddle stroke. And, it's super fast! Just wait til you and your paddlemate experience the full throttle acceleration of two people paddling at the same time. Careful not to leave too big of a wake!

Why did you create this?
We believe nature is better when we share the experience with others. Now, we enjoy a solitary walk in the woods or a quiet solo paddle as much as the folks, and there's a time and place for being alone (especially in nature). But too often, we found ourselves trying to paddle together and yet drifting apart. So, Paddlemaran was born! We created Paddlemaran to turn paddling into a social, "together" experience that would inspire us to spend more time on the water, with friends and loved ones. After creating our first prototypes, we discovered Paddlemaran is also amazing for other activities like fishing, fly fishing, paddling with dogs, enjoying the water with kids—the list goes on!
